Methanol Solutions

With its cost-effectiveness and low emissions, methanol is emerging as one of the key marine fuels of the future. MannTek already offers the necessary connections and equipment for bunkering, which is crucial for a smooth transition.

The shipping industry rapidly faces increasing demands to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) CII regulations are one of the biggest driving forces behind this need. In the aspiration to fulfil these demands, methanol is an exciting and promising possibility.

A reliable partner with tailored based solutions

MannTek is an important player in the transition to methanol. We offer the necessary couplings for the bunkering of methanol fuel and adapt them to your specific needs. With a reliable partner like MannTek to support the infrastructure, you can make great strides towards meeting stricter environmental requirements and meeting future challenges. We offer tailored based solutions and can deliver everything from a single connection to a complete system.

CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 88%

In addition to being more flexible and cost-effective than gas and diesel, the main benefit of methanol is that it produces lower SOx and NOx emissions and less CO2 than diesel. The amount you can reduce emissions depend on the load your engines are running at and the colour of methanol you use. When using green methanol, CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 88%.
