MannTek is the leading manufacturer of easy-to-use, reliable LNG transfer systems and LNG bunkering systems in the world. We produce more than 2500 different couplings and supply over 80 000 couplings per year. All components are manufactured, assembled and 100 % tested in our factory in Mariestad, Sweden and every transfer system are tested cryogenically. We have produced 42 complete LNG Hose transfer systems that are in use since 2013. That means 35 000 transfers of 3 Million m³ LNG. We have a 100% safety record which includes SIL2.

Advantages

Advantages of Nitrogen systems

Nitrogen has a lower boiling point than LNG – which means no additional heating or circulation system is required. We don’t use hydraulics and therefore no hydraulic leaks. We monitor pressure right to point of activation. The system is lightweight and compact and both the PERC and DCC can be lifted to the receiving vessel. The PERC has a dual functionality – it is active on ESD2 and passive on ‘blackout’. The hose gives flexibility and responsibility after ESD2. Both Capex and Opex is significantly reduced.
