Safe, reliable, and easy to handle LNG solutions
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a key fuel in the global shift towards a more sustainable energy future. It's simply a better choice. LNG offers lower carbon emissions, reduced particulate matter, and fewer nitrogen oxides. Its compact, transportable form makes it an ideal solution for everything from heavy transport to industrial uses.
Advantages with LNG
Nitrogen has a lower boiling point – which means no additional heating or circulation system is required when using LNG. We don’t use hydraulics and therefore no hydraulic leaks during the LNG bunkering procedure. We monitor pressure right to point of activation. The LNG system is lightweight and compact and both the PERC and DCC can easily be lifted to the receiving LNG vessel. The PERC has a dual functionality – it is active on ESD2 and passive on ‘blackout’. The hose gives flexibility and responsibility after ESD2. Both Capex and Opex is significantly reduced due to the LNG transferring system.
Safe, easy to handle, reliable
MannTek’s DDC couplings have finalised all the tests for ISO 21593, the international standard that regulates the technical requirements of all LNG couplings. This means that our DCC couplings are safe for use in all possible conditions and under any circumstances. Time saving, easy to handle, reliable – and compatible with all other manufacturers that fulfill the ISO 21593.
