Manntek will deliver a complete transfer system to Høglund Gas Solutions – a part of the modification of the Bergen LNG into an LNG bunker vessel. Bergen LNG, previously known as Oslo Tank, will operate in Bergen harbour and serve future LNG cruise ships from Hurtigruten and Havila Coastal Route. 

Kairos Kairos – the world’s largest LNG refuelling tanker 

At the beginning of 2019, the new fuel tanker Kairos entered service. The ship has a capacity of 7500 cubic meters and is used for bunkering – or refuelling – ships with liquid natural gas (LNG).

February the 6:th 2015 history was written when Harvey Gulf’s first LNG powered OSV, Harvey Energy was set in to service and the first LNG marine bunkering took place in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

SkangasMannTek LNG Transfer Systems supplied to Skangas Pori Terminal

Skangas, a subsidiary of Gasum, has constructed the first LNG import terminal at Port of Tahkoluoto in Pori. The first LNG operation took place the 1st of October 2016. MannTek personal was consultants in this operation which involved MannTek LNG transfer system.

Tote MaritimeTote Maritime - Worlds first LNG powered containership

Jacksonville, Florida January 9, 2016 history was written again when the world’s first LNG propelled containership Tote Maritime’s Isla Bella bunkered LNG for the first time when 100.000 Gallons of LNG was transferred from a total of 12 ISO containers.

Viking grace LNGM/S Viking Grace -  World’s first LNG powered passenger ferry

In January 2013 M/S Viking Grace became the world’s first LNG powered passenger ferry and the first of its kind. The ship is 218 meters long and has a weight of 57000 tons.

Buquebus - World fastest LNG powered ferry

In late 2014 the ferry company Buquebus took service of their new high speed catamaran ferry, HSC Francisco for service between Buenos Aires and Montevideo. This is the first dual fueled ship in Latin America.
