rDME
Renewable DME is a sustainable fuel that reduces CO2 output drastically. However, when rDME is blended in high percentages together with LPG this mixture will become chemically more aggressive. This increases the demand on the equipment.
“At MannTek we have redesigned our couplings to make them perfectly capable of transferring rDME blended into LPG in any concentration thinkable.” – Cenkiz Tesson, LPG Business Developer Manager

DDC – Design 2.0
The difference between the traditional design and Design 2.0 has similar positive effects for DDC as for DGC couplings. You can read about it here.

Cases
Flogas AB
Flogas AB in Sweden is an example of a LPG company that managed the transition to and the use of spill-free gas couplings, Dry Gas Couplings, very well. Flogas AB renewed the equipment in all its rail loading and customer delivery, and has today a much safer and faster system to load their trucks and rail tank cars.
Innovative accessories
Stop before disconnect
This is a feature for detecting eventual leakage before disconnecting the hose and the tank unit. If the valves in the hose or tank unit fail to seal properly, due to damage or foreign parts, the leakage will be detected.
This occurs before the hose and tank unit can be separated mechanically thanks to a patented automatic blocking function. This prevents the operator from being exposed to dangerous media.
Hose unit with integrated breakaway
If there is a risk of excessive force on the hose due to unexpected motion between the loading and unloading units, the DDC can be combined with a safety breakaway.
Pressure bleeding valve
For special operating conditions where there is the risk of excessive pressure increase through warming in the pipe/hose system.
To protect the equipment, the optional pressure bleeding valve opens at a predetermined pressure limit.
